Bennett Elementary School

Bennett Elementary School is a public school in Wolffort Texas. The school’s name comes from the Boy Scouts of America, in which the school’s first principal was a member.

In the early 1990s, Bennett Elementary was a state-of-the-art school with the latest innovations in education and technology. The school was chosen as one of the state’s model schools, which meant it received grants to continue its educational excellence and was visited by other schools to learn from its model.

In 1995, enrollment at Bennett Elementary was approximately 350 students. There was one session at Bennett Elementary for grades kindergarten through five. The school utilized a modified block schedule and had four classes per day.

Bennett Elementary School (also known as the Wolfforth Elementary School) is a former elementary school in Wolfforth, Texas, United States. It was built in 1936 as a Works Progress Administration project, and served as the community’s public school until its closure in 2011. The building is a contributing property within the Wolfforth Historic District. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in Texas as part of a multiple-property submission on February 21, 2009. In 1936, the Works Progress Administration constructed a building in Wolfforth, Texas, which would become Bennett Elementary School.

Bennett Elementary School is a public, co-educational school located in Wolffort, Texas. The school was originally built in the 1960s, with a number of additions to the building made between 1972 and 1997. About 80% of the student body are white, with the remainder being Latino. The school itself is located in a wealthy, mostly white part of town, but it’s surrounded by poorer, Latino neighborhoods and even poorer, black neighborhoods. Bennett Elementary School is located at 1010 West Chandler St., Wolffort, TX 75798. The school has an enrollment of 703 students in grades PK-5. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, the school has a total of 703 students enrolled in it. The school received an accountability rating of Met standard. The school received a great rating for overall student achievement.
